Bearing
Replacement
Structural Repairtechnique can replace all types and sizes of
bridge bearings, from simple elastomeric pads through to pre-loaded
mechanical bearings. We can also provide a ‘one stop shop’ solution by
co-ordinating design and AIP issues, installation of temporary support
and bridge deck jacking operations. With our experience, we can offer
a design and build service based upon value engineering soultions.
Cathodic Protection
Structural Repairtechnique have significant in house experience
in the installation of both Galvanic and Impressed current cathodic
protection systems including mesh and overlay and discreet anode
systems.
Composite Strengthening
By bonding carbon fibre and other composite materials using high
strength adhesives, we are able to strengthen a wide variety of
structures and buildings. By using wrapping techniques with the
site application of resin to aramid or glass and carbon fibre sheets,
we can achieve improvements in strength and impact resistance.
Concrete Repair
Working in many different environments and as approved contractors for
the majority of material manufacturers, we can carry out traditional
hand repairs or flowable repairs to any type of structure.
Our staff have many years experience within the
concrete repair industry and can offer expert advice on materials
choice and specification.
Injection Works and Water Seepage Control
Working with epoxy, polyester or cementitious materials, our staff
have unmatched experience in injection works and can utilise vacuum
techniques to control movement of injected materials and significantly
increase the degree of ‘fill’ of void or cracks.
Structural Repairtechnique can successfully seal leaking
structures including tunnels, shafts, reservoirs, storage tanks, and
basements by injecting aqua-reactive or two-part polyurethane
materials.
Using a combination of vacuum and pressure systems, we can reinstate
the support to concrete pavements on highways, airport aprons and
runways and warehouse or distribution centre hardstanding.
Membranes and Coatings
Structural Repairtechnique staff have experience in the
design and application of many types of coatings, from anti-carbonation and
decorative coatings, Silane impregnation, anti-graffitti coatings and
liquid applied waterproof membranes.
Sprayed Concrete
Structural Repairtechnique staff have over 25 years of
experience in sprayed concrete; from site batched sand and cement in
the 1970’s through to the modern polymer modified and fibre reinforced
materials of today. We can carry out large scale repair and
construction, protective overlays or when combined with steel fabric
reinforcement, strengthening to existing brick or concrete structures.
We can spray rapid curing materials for use in tidal areas or during
rail or road possessions where early strength gain is critical. We can
further offer slope stabilisation based on a combination of soil nails
and sprayed concrete.
